We began selling our name blocks at local markets around Adelaide.

Our personalised name blocks became available on Etsy under the brand Mima and Co.

Until 2021, every name block was made in a single-car home garage. Moving our machinery into a small commercial workshop let us add new equipment and store more materials.

Challenges in finding a reliable supply of quality pine with minimal knots and defects meant name blocks were frequently out of stock.

We invested in new sanding equipment, machinery and processes to speed up production and improve the quality and consistency of every block.

The hardest part of buying a personalised gift is picturing how it will look. We wanted customers to preview any name and colour combination instantly, so we started designing our own configurator.

We added larger 70mm blocks, perfect for nursery décor, alongside our classic 43mm play blocks.
